So much for posting this on New Years...
But I have no grudge when 2011 greets me with a downed internet service and an idea for a blog entry fresh in my mind. Oh well, worth a shot.
It that time once more as the whole world greets the new year with a bang as always. Fireworks in the air, lighting up the night sky with outwards array of light, loud enough to wake up the neighbors (then again, they're the ones setting it off). Though I got to say, it was an awfully quiet celebration for my family this year. Every year, we would set up our own pyrotechnics show as well, set of our sparklers, air wolves, and my personal favorite, the Roman Candles as our way of scaring away the evil spirits. Only, we didn't have any fireworks to set off nor did we have, to my dismay, a plan to buy some in the first place (support the Clean Air Act I guess). So what's left to do...
♫'Cause baby, you're a firework,
Come on, show 'em what you're worth
Make 'em go, oh-oh-oh,
As you shoot across the sky-y-y♫Well what do you know,"Fireworks" plays just as fireworks shoot across the sky. Not the only perfect situation song that played, when Jay Sean's "It Ain't the End" followed after. Sure, it ain't the end of the world when it not even 2012 yet. And once the Black Eyed Peas enters the fray...
♫I've had the time of my life
And I never felt this way before
And I swear, this is true
And I owe it all to you♫The song seem to fit just perfectly. It's a new year, though I can't get get over the lack of fireworks at my place, It's another three hundred and sixty-five days to make the most out of life, redeem ourselves of past mistakes, and most of all, have fun.
Happy New to you all!
